KarHub

Deleting your KarHub account

Google Play and the App Store both require a way to request account deletion that works from a web page, without installing the app. This is that page.

In the app — immediate

Open KarHub and go to Settings → Delete Account.

Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. It removes your vehicles, mileage logs, maintenance records, registration records, fluid specifications, tracked items, conversations with Otto, quote requests and their replies, appointments, any photos you uploaded, and your login itself.

By email — if you can't reach the app

If you have lost your phone, deleted the app, or cannot sign in, email 1challahadley@gmail.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account.

Writing from the signed-up address is what proves the account is yours. If you cannot, say so in the message and we will ask for something else that shows it — we will not delete an account on the word of someone we cannot identify, because doing so would let anyone erase anyone else's records.

Requests are actioned within 30 days, and usually within a few days.

What is kept, and for how long

Everything listed above is deleted outright. Two exceptions, both ordinary:

Your subscription is separate. Deleting your account does not cancel it, because we do not control billing — Apple and Google do. Cancel in Apple Account → Subscriptions or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, or you will continue to be charged for an account that no longer exists.

Deleting one vehicle instead

If you only want to remove a car you no longer own, you do not need to delete your account. In the app, open the garage, swipe the vehicle and choose Remove. That takes its service history with it and leaves the rest of your account alone.
